We continually give thanks to God for each one of you who has faithfully supported the ministry, both through your prayers and your financial generosity. God has remained faithful, even during difficult times, and we are grateful for His constant provision.
We are excited to share some of the progress taking place at our school. During the month of July, students from fifth through ninth grade participated in our annual Science Fair. Activities like this help develop their knowledge, encourage teamwork, and build confidence. It is an event the students eagerly anticipate each year. We are especially thankful to our local municipal authorities, parents, and teachers for their support in making this event a success.
We have now completed the first 100 days of the school year. Although there have been many challenges, there is great joy in seeing our youngest students proudly learning to read, write, add, and subtract. On July 20, schools throughout Honduras celebrated Lempira Day, honoring the national indigenous leader, Lempira. As is tradition, schools across the country held patriotic programs and civic celebrations to commemorate this important day.
At our Children’s Home, we continue helping the children with their homework and school assignments each day. They are also learning about poultry farming and enjoy caring for the chicks and collecting eggs alongside Sister Mariana, who oversees our small farm. Each day, the chickens provide approximately 25 to 30 fresh eggs, which help supply nutritious breakfasts and dinners for the children. All of the children living in the home attend Vida Nueva Christian School.
For the past 20 years, our ministry has provided a nutritious daily lunch for the children who participate in our Children’s Feeding Program. Today, however, we are facing a shortage of financial resources. We are prayerfully asking for additional support because it would be heartbreaking to have to discontinue this program that has blessed so many children over the years. We ask that God would touch the hearts of those who are able to partner with us in continuing this important ministry.

Getting to Know One of Our Teachers
Meet Gricelda Guzmán
Teacher at CEB Vida Nueva and Sunday School Teacher
This month, we’re excited to introduce you to Gricelda Guzmán, a dedicated teacher at CEB Vida Nueva and a faithful Sunday School teacher. For the past five years, Gricelda has been a blessing to our ministry, investing in the lives of children both in the classroom and at church. Her heart for serving the Lord and her love for children are evident in everything she does.
What has Ministerios de Fe Vida Nueva meant to me over the past five years?
I do not have enough words to express how much these five years of serving in this ministry have meant to me. Coming to Vida Nueva was an answered prayer. The greatest desire of my heart has always been to serve the Lord and do His will.
I consider myself a servant, and at Vida Nueva I have found the perfect place to serve—teaching children in our school and ministering to them in Sunday School. I truly love this ministry and deeply value everything that is done here. I believe that caring for children is one of the things that touches the heart of God the most.
As a teenager, I lived for several years in a children’s home in La Entrada, Copán. That experience changed my life forever. Because of that, I believe that Vida Nueva has the potential to become a little piece of heaven here on earth, especially through the children’s home.
I am so grateful to God for this ministry and for bringing me here. My son Samuel attended this school for four years, receiving a scholarship for both tuition and transportation. As a single mother of two children, this was an incredible blessing to me.
My brother Manuel, who has a disability, has also been blessed through the missionaries who have visited the ministry. They were also a great blessing to my family during a time when my mother was very ill.
May God bless Ministerios de Fe Vida Nueva and every person who has supported this ministry. May God have mercy on Azacualpa and continue to bless this wonderful community, especially the children who are part of this ministry.
I truly believe that Vida Nueva was born in the heart of God and that it must continue, because there is still a great work to be done. May God give wisdom, vision, and direction to every leader He has called to be part of this ministry.
