Meet the Children in Our Children’s Home
We would like to introduce you to the children who are now part of the Vida Nueva Children’s Home.
Milagros Monserrat, age 10, along with her brothers Emanuel and Yoshuan, come from a home with a single mother who struggles with alcoholism. Because of difficult economic circumstances and social risk factors, the children often missed school and lacked the stability every child deserves.
Emy Gabriela is the daughter of Vanessa. Some of you may have had the opportunity to meet Vanessa during previous visits. Realizing that she could not provide a safe and stable home for Emy, she made the difficult but loving decision to entrust her daughter’s care to the ministry, believing that Vida Nueva could provide the emotional stability and care she needed.
Juan and Genesis also came to us from similar situations, without a safe and secure place to call home.
Each of these children is adjusting to their new family at Vida Nueva. We are doing our very best to meet their physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs. Above all, we are sharing with them the love of Christ and teaching them God’s Word. During their free time, they enjoy playing soccer, riding and repairing their bicycles, and simply being children.
Investing in Education
This month our teaching staff participated in training on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education. Our desire is to provide the highest quality education possible for our students. As technology continues to advance, it is important that we continue learning so we can prepare our students for the future.
As a Christian school, our highest priority remains teaching God’s Word. We pray that, just as Proverbs 22:6 teaches, we will faithfully train up children in godly values, biblical principles, and God’s purpose for their lives.
Students in fourth through sixth grade recently received certificates after completing The Great Adventure Bible curriculum. We trust that they will continue to walk in the only true way—our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
