God Is at Work in 2026
Each January, we are blessed to receive a mission team from Minnesota: TEAM AZACUALPA. For the past 15 years, they have faithfully visited Ministerios de Fe Vida Nueva in Azacualpa, Honduras. Their partnership has been a tremendous blessing—from helping construct our very first ministry building to serving families in the community by building homes for those in need.
School Improvements for the New Year
This year, the team worked diligently to prepare our campus for the new school year. They installed protective window railings on the school building and laid ceramic tile in two classrooms. These improvements not only enhance the appearance of our facilities but also create a safer and more welcoming learning environment for our students.
We are also grateful to the First Baptist Church of Cooperstown in Cooperstown, NY, whose generosity made it possible to install air conditioning in our classrooms. This will make a tremendous difference for both students and teachers as we begin the new academic year.
In addition, thanks to TEAM AZACUALPA, we now have a much-needed new lawn mower—another practical but important blessing for maintaining our growing campus.
Reaching the Community
During their visit, the team joined us in traveling to three surrounding communities to distribute 100 bags filled with food and cleaning supplies. Many families are facing significant hardship, and these provisions were received with deep gratitude. We are so thankful for brothers and sisters who come with grateful hearts, ready to serve and bless others.
The church Asamblea de Dios de La Corosa, located in the community of La Corosa about two hours from the Guatemalan border, was also blessed this year with a new roof and a freshly painted building. We give all the glory to God for His provision.
A New School Year Begins
In Honduras, the school year runs from February 1 through November 15. Our Vida Nueva School is excited to welcome a new group of students.
This year, we are stepping into a new and important challenge: serving children on the autism spectrum. We believe our school is in the heart of God’s plan, and these precious children are part of that calling. While it will require dedication, training, and additional resources, we trust that with God’s help—and your partnership—we will be able to meet this need with excellence and love.
Join Us in the Mission
God continues to move in powerful ways in Azacualpa. Through education, discipleship, and community outreach, lives are being transformed.
We invite you to prayerfully consider partnering with us. Your support—through prayer, financial giving, or sharing our mission with others—makes this work possible.
Together, we can continue bringing hope, faith, and opportunity to the children and families of Azacualpa, Honduras.
